What is a "Cute" Read?

I realized that I have been using that word over and over again in my reviews. I bet many of you are wondering what constitutes a "cute" read?

... light, with little or no substance/background; fun; feel-good; in the moment; fast; straightforward; some are laugh-out-loud; there is a beginning, middle, and end; amusing; and satisfying...

Simon Romantic Comedies, Rachel Hawthorne Books, and -for the older generation- Love Stories Series are both great examples of Cute Reads.
