Follow Friday #7

Our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week’s Hop question is: "If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?" Believe it or not, this is the usual amount of money I spend in the bookstore... Once a month though, that's why I always come with to many stuff. And it is only for Four books - 'Cause I'm a hardcover lover so, they cost 20 dollars approximate. So my decision is simple: Going To Far, All You Get Is Me, The Dragon Saga: Legend Of The Oceina Dragon, Caleb+Kate, and because Going Too Far and Caleb+Kate are paperback, and I always have 40% Coupons, I get an extra one, which would be Beastly - nop, I haven't reads it. and I leave with a total amount of £0 (or $0) It is just about the same x)
And, Follow Friday is asking: "Q. Just like Ashley said (love it) "Ashley the girl..." who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?" This should be done by Yani's... 'Cause is her blog and she's the real deal, so I'm leaving a blank space for her when she comes back, though I'll still tell a little bit 'bout myself.
Yani: (waiting for her to return)
Jude: I'm the youngest of 3 brothers, they already abandoned the nest, have beautiful children, except for the "young one" whom lives a SUPER independent life a block away from my house and still comes for dinner (Sucker! xD) I'm a senior and am on my way to College to be a Digital Graphic Designer, and then I'll take Camera courses and become a Director... I hope, at least. You may wonder why don't I study film instead, it is because I live in Mexico and in BC that does not exist. It sucks. Major. and Period. I love writing and hope to one day publish my work - though more as a hobby, not so much as a job - I LOVE to blog and review, and.... my favorite quote of ALL time, I basically live my life upon it is: "Be Yourself. Let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish."— John Jakes :D!

And this weeks featured blog...

Mine :D!
and I mean mine mine of me from me :) Yes, I work in this one, but I still manage one of my own which just started to Please go on and check it out! It has - or will have - all pf my reviews plus my features. It is still a work in progress but, It is there and will grow, of that I am sure :D!! I'm pouring heart and soul into it

So If you could take some time and visit, that'd be great :D!
Its been a Great Week and I really enjoyed taking care of the Features and Blog, Loved being with you guys, but It is time that I step aside and allow dear Yani's to come back and take her place, we really Miss You Yani!! Singing of, Jude Henderson...

Follow Friday #6

Our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week’s Hop question is: none as of yet...

And, Follow Friday is asking: If you are a fan of Science Fiction what is your favorite book? If you haven't read Science Fiction before...any inkling to? Anything catch your eye?

I can't say I am a fan of science fiction book, though I do like Sci-Fi movies. Recently, I read Across the Universe and LOVED it. I think what I liked the most was that although it was a sci-fi book, it spoke alot about humanity and today's culture of acceptance.

It's been a slow week, but I have about 5 reviews to write, PLUS I just got an ARC of Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott!!!!! She is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read this book.

Follow Friday #5

Our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week’s Hop question is: "Tell us about one of your posts from this week and give us a link so we can read it (review or otherwise)!"
I like all my posts so check them out!

And, Follow Friday is asking: What is your favorite romance hero-type? Stereotype wise. Do you like the strong silent type or the brute macho man?

I have two types, I love the boy next door, but I also love the bad boy. Either way they must be sarcastic, witty, and devilishly handsome.

Follow Friday #4

Our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week my featured blog to follow is Carrie Harris Blog.
She is a debut author this year and she has some very honest book reviews. Recently, she shared some of her history, and I just have to say she is truly an inspirational person.

So check it out and let me know what you think.

This week’s Hop question is: What are you reading and why?
I am about to begin reading Across the Universe for my book club, but also because it has gotten amazing reviews.

And, Follow Friday is asking: What is the book you are currently 'pushing'? (Pushing mean trying to get people to read it)
I really really enjoyed Delirium. I know so many people didn't like it, but I LOVED it. I have even had two giveaways for it. One currently happening right now!

Follow Friday #3

Our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week my featured blog to follow is The Book Couture. I really enjoy the ambiance of the site. Very cute, neat layout. Love it.

So check it out and let me know what you think.

This week’s Hop question is: What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?
I was really anticipating Delirium, because I am hooked on dystopian novels that are about love and i loved Lauren Oliver's last book. I got Delirium last week and it definitely lived up to my hype. Now, I guess I am looking forward to the last book of the Mercy Falls series. I really enjoyed the first two, hopefully the last one goes above and beyond.

And, Follow Friday is asking: What is/was your favorite subject in school?
Oviously, I enjoyed literature because of my love to read, but my favorite subject was algebra. I loved getting equations and solving them. I love logical thinking. I tend to hypothesize and put everything into neat little equations.

This week there are so many new posts, thanks to our new reviewer Jude! Jude is trying to start her own blog, but in the meantime she will be posting here. She is from Mexico and learned to read English just to be able to get her hand on her favorite books, talk about dedication!

Follow Friday #2

Apparently, I have been doing this blog hop/ follow Friday thing all wrong. Yikes, thank god its only the second week so I can correct my mistakes. Along with a featured blog to follow, I will now be posting answer to the blog hop/follow Friday questions AND a 'week in review' type section of my posts for the week.

So let's start this off by meeting our hosts : Parajunkee's and Crazy for Books Blog

This week my featured blog to follow is one I have been following for a while, G-Reads. I love her writing style and the topics of her posts. She will be busy with school for the next couple of months, like me, but she will still be posting and responding to emails =)

So check out her blog and let me know what you think.

Blog Hop: No Blog Hop this week

Follow Friday: Who Do You Root For?
I love football. LOVE. I started off with college football, representing my team and I just couldn't get enough. Now I am starting to get into the NFL. I don't really have a favorite team just yet, but I like to watch the games and go for the underdog.

Follow Friday #1

As I have been super busy with school AND work AND studying for my CPA exam I was not able to post my first follow Friday posts this past Friday. I thought I would still do it today since thanks to the marvelous wonders of twitter, I have found not one but TWO great blogs that I had never read before. It couldn't decide between the two, both are very different. One I appreciate for the similarities between my tastes and theirs, and the other I adore for introducing me to new books.

First follow...
Alison Can Read

I really enjoyed this blog because Alison has a great "writing voice." I definitely connected personally to her and I feel we had alot in common. You should definitely read her article about Twilight, LOVED IT.

Second follow....

What I love about this blog is that it had so many books that I had never heard of, and that is very rare for me. I will definitely be keeping track of this blog to find some new great reads.
