Why Yani is Waiting on It: I am not sure what about this book struck me. I don't really appreciate the cover, other the than the doggy (hello cutie!), but this book seems like one of the REAL contemporary works. It sounds really good. I used to dislike books with intense problems that are actually REAL, but now I love them. Looking forward to it. I must admit, I do like the cover. It has definitely caught my eye.
I really want to read this now, thank you for pointing out yet another great book. I didn't even know about this. I'm not really crazy about the cover either.

I had never heard of this book, but it definitely sounds like my kind of read! Adding it to my TBR list. I like that it sounds REAL too. However I am not a fan of that cover lol.
